This Program helps develop your own practice: An emphasis on testing out ideas and risk taking, seeing choreography as a nexus of ideas, intentions, movement concerns and production values. Visiting artists give further insights into a variety of creative practices in dance and other art forms. Explore different artistic and social contexts for the creation and reception of work create pieces in a range of settings and media. Collaborate with artists from other disciplines.

It is based on a “professional development “model. The programme consists of in-­‐ depth training in core areas of dance practice alongside a range of options. The compulsory core training is made up of four related components: Contemporary Dance Technique (Release); Choreography; Choreological Practice; Devising and Performance. While the elective components are: Ballet; Contemporary Jazz; Dance Teaching; Sound Score for Dance; The Dancing Body; Choreutics. Awarded by the Simone Michelle Prize for outstanding achievement in Choreography.
